Just measured a 72 hr power reserve on my Datejust!

For fun, I had put it away on saturday, just curious to see how long it would run. Wound it fully, and in a drawer. And right on the 72hr mark (give or take 15 mins) it had stopped. More than the promised 70hrs! One thing that works well on the new 32xx movements! 😉

Anyone else "tested" their power reserve?

My wife’s $200 Tissot will run for 80 hours on a full wind.

My Hamilton Pan Europ's H-30 movement was 80 hours, too, though I never tested it. Kept near perfect time, too.

I’ve never tested, but I’m a simple man. If i take one watch off on Friday and pick it up Monday morning I’m always amazed it’s still running.

As long as my watch is still ticking when I wake up in the morning and I can see its ticking thats far more important than testing power reserve.

Plus or minus 15 minutes is not a accurate enough Peter.

We should ask him to do it again.

Mine just keep going when I wear them.
