Trade AP 26331ST (Blue) for 116509 (Blue)

Always lurking around each day and have polled this forum from time to time but here is my latest dilemma: I was offered a straight trade: my 2019 AP ROC 26331ST (Blue dial) for a 2018 116509 (Blue dial). No cash. Thoughts?

I have a AP 15500 (grey), Patek 5172 (Blue) and a few Rolex, include a 116500 (black), in the collection at this moment in time. I had a 116519LN but could never make the oysterflex work quite right. The full bracelet of the 116509 makes it very tempting. I do have concerns about the non-ceramic bezel but I desk dive most days and enjoy my pieces (carefully, if required). Welcome any feedback.

As much as I like the blue Daytona, a lot, I’d keep that AP. Or get cash your way, at least $8K.

You already have SS Daytona and OF Daytona, so it's better to keep your 26331ST.

But if you don't really love 26331ST anymore, may be it's good trade for you (but if's mine, I would not).

No contest, keep the blue AP, those contrasting silver sub dials are outstanding.

Thanks for the thoughts. Tough one. I am leaning towards keeping the AP.

The other opportunity is to trade the 26331 and $10K cash and get the 126719BLRO Meteorite Dial. I recently got from my AD the 126720VTNR (and I have a 116710LN). Thus, lot of GMTs but Meteorite dial?
--Full disclosure: I previously had 126719BLRO (blue dial) but the bezel and dial never worked. Bezel looked purple against the dial.

keep the AP, it's much more special than a WG daytona. AP for meteorite blro is a bit more of a dilemma but i think you're right with saying you'd have too many gmts

I would not trade that AP for that Daytona. I have the same AP in Panda and it’s a keeper.

I think you should get a minimum of 5k back for that trade to feel fair at current values and I really like Daytona’s.

I'd keep the AP. You already have the SS black Daytona which I actually prefer over the WG.

Although I would not argue with most here suggesting to keep the AP because it's clearly the better watch of the two, I also think it depends on what type of watches you like to wear. For my wrist size and liking, I would prefer the Daytona over this AP (41mm). The Daytona wears more like the 26315ST (38mm).

Thanks for all the feedback. Pretty resounding advice. I have struggled with this trade proposal. I enjoy the 26331 (had the 26315 too). The PM Daytona on a full bracelet is intriguing. However, I think I am going to hold onto the AP. It feels exciting to put on each time I wear it. That is what collecting is all about.
