VC FiftySix Availability

Out of curiosity, how east is a stainless VC FiftySix to obtain from a boutique? I don’t remember them being an allocation piece but things have changed in the last year. Could you find one on display at a boutique?

In the UK there is a list for one now but not a mega long list. I reckon you would wait 6-12 months here but you would get one. Appreciate you are in NYC. I was told the wait time is more because the boutiques don't get huge volumes of them rather than there being lots of people on the list.
Hope that helps.

Thank you, that’s very helpful! I’m actually not in NYC but it would be the closest US boutique. The closest boutique in general is Toronto

Depends on the model you want. I was told the grey dial is quite available with around 3 months wait. Whereas for the blue dial wait is longer. Blue dial with steel bracelet is a multi year wait as well.

Last time I checked in December 2021 it was EUR 13.400 msrp. In January it was priced at EUR 14.300 if i recall correctly.

Now it is EUR 15.400 msrp. Soon it will hit the 20k if this pace continues :s.

I’m honestly kind of surprised it’s not more popular. I’ve never seen one in person but I feel like if AP or PP was on the dial it would be a 10 year waitlist

I think the complete calendar is an allocation piece now. To qualify you just have to have some purchase history with them prior to this piece. My AD has one or two hiding in back.

Funny that you asked ... I just bought a blue dial fiftysix complete calendar from my AD last week. See my incoming here:
https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=870026

For what's worth, my AD told me he gets 1-2 stainless pieces every 2-3 months, and they are all allocation pieces that don't go into the display case. That said, he sold me this watch, which just came in and he brought it out from the back. So clearly it was definitely not "allocated." I have an existing relationship with this AD, but not huge, so it's not that exclusive like the Oversea.

I also visited the Chicago boutique two days ago and they only have a few gold fiftysix piece and no stainless in the display case. The SA there congratulated me for getting my watch, saying that Stainless pieces are now "hard to get," and complete calendar is even hard. No idea if he's just being nice or that's the truth.

If you get to chance to see it in person, go check it out. It's a lot better in metal than the press photo. I was sold after I had it on my hand.

I am not sure if this is because you re in the US. UK or Europe is always in lack of stocks, including Rolex, PP etc. Most of them will ship to US, China and Hong Kong.
