Got called out on my BLRO at the Docs office!
I've read these threads and thought how odd... I don't think I have ever had someone (random) call out the watch I was wearing. So I'm at the doctors office yesterday getting a blood work up etc.. annual physical and the nurse is doing her thing taking my blood pressure getting ready to take blood so I took off my BLRO and put it on the table next to my cell phone and she says "Wow, I don't think I've ever seen a Rolex before" I was surprised but then again the Pepsi kind of screams Rolex. I just said I am a watch nerd etc.. she went on to pull 2 very old family heirlooms out of her pocket that she had just got back from service at a local jeweler and offered them to me to check out. I guess watches were on her mind. Anyway, confirms my suspicion that it rarely if ever comes up unless there is a common thread of communication.

Just consider yourself lucky.
A doctors office is an incredibly unsafe place to wear a BLRO. |

I just wanted to comment and say how exciting it is to see a fellow Utahn on the forum!
And to the OP, keep wearing the BLRO in the best of health!

my dental assistant got excited to check out my plain jane DJ36; i think the cyclops gave it away.....he kept referring to it as a 'Rollie' however, felt weird.
i half expected him to blurt out 'box and papers BRO!!!!', but alas not. |

i had an appt to see a hand specialist (I have Dupuytren's). It was my 1st visit with him and he's asking me a few questions about my hand. All of a sudden he grabs my left hand and says "Is that Milgauss? I love the Z-Blue." He was wearing a Sub. We talked watches more than the procedure on my hand.
