Daytona IPhone

Title says it all. If nothing else this creation demonstrates the watch market has jumped the shark as they say, this one should give everyone pause. At a cost of $134,250 USD, this modified iPhone has the case and dial of a genuine Rolex Cosmograph Daytona implanted into its back.

What kind of spend history do you need to have at the Verizon store to get on the list for one of these?

It’s never a surprise what people with too much money are willing to buy.

And the name Caviar just adds that extra touch of class for the discerning owner

It's an interesting (and grotesque) juxtaposition of design. An object which lasts a few years at best, merged with an object built to last generations... The article was fairly scathingly hysterical.

Won't the magsafe in the phone magnetize the watch?

This takes some true "more money than sense" mentality. to purchase. If you're going to pull your phone out to look at the time, why not just look at the phone rather than the case? I guess this gives the owner something to look at during meetings....
