The Watcher on Netflix - Daytona 116520

Binged "The Watcher" this weekend on Netflix with the wife.
Noticed that Dean Brannock (played by Bobby Cannavale) seems to be wearing an 116520 white dial.

I saw it flashed very clearly at one point, but i can't find it at the moment.

Glad to see the 116520 on screen

Side note - I also saw Kevin Hart wearing this same reference in his Netflix movie, "True Story"

MOD EDIT/NOTICE: POSSIBLE SPOILERS BELOW

Been eyeing one myself lately I just don’t think I would be able to fit it in the Rotation. Some very cheap full sets around. (Relatively speaking)

Yup, spotted it early. Great show but slightly disappointing ending (sorry!).

Yeah, also saw it was the white Daytona 116520. Great reference.

Terrible show. All promise & no delivery. Great cinematography, but that's all.

I thought the ending was just fine (for once) since it's basically true.

So do you think was all about you want what you can’t have? The obsession of it? I get that, pretty cool. They should make a Rolex watcher series lol.

They should have had him try to flip it to the grey market as he needed money. They could have been watching that as well lol!

It's based on a true story that remains unsolved.

My sister used to live, literally, a block over on Summit ave (she moved just before the last incident in 2014). She was pretty happy to get out of there once they heard about all this...

All they had to do was ignore the letters. Well, if I start getting similar letters I’ll bin them.

I thought maybe it was a fake prop watch. Looked too bulky. Did anyone do the nerd pause and zoom lol

The character Detective Sergeant David Gabriel wore a black dial 16520 or 116520 one in the first season of “The Closer”.
