Torn between Daytona YG OF and AP Novelty RG 44mm

I currently own an AP Novelty RG 44mm 2014 and 3 other Rolex (SD43, rootbeer, bluesy). Recently I’ve been thinking to trade my AP for the Daytona YG black dial OF.

I still love my AP and not sure if I should keep it or trade it. I like the Daytona too but it’s smaller, and I aldy have other Rolex models but it’s newer model than the AP. Have the pic below for your reference. Please advise me, thanks in advance.

I would not trade the ROO for a Daytona, personally.

Wonder no more … Rolex Daytona.

To me the AP is too big … not only in size, but also in the statement it makes.

The Yellow Gold / Black Dial / OF Bracelet you seek is a great watch … while still being classy and brilliant, it flies somewhat under the radar with that setup.

I am not a fan of that AP. Seems like it would be huge on anything but an 8" + wrist so I'd do that trade or maybe for a different AP

Always go for what you love the most, if you still love your ROO, keep it and add Daytona later.

Hard to compare those two watches as the size and look are totally different.
Overall though, I like the AP more but I also only wear larger watches. I have the exact watch but in stainless and love it.

I think the Daytona is a winner in the sense that it’s a much more versatile watch. Depends on your tastes at the end of the day, but for me there’s no match here.

I would always pick a Rolex over an AP. Even a Daytona.

Any Daytona over any ROO for me but most Royal Oaks over most Daytonas.

A pic of the AP on your wrist would be helpful.

I like the Daytona but IMO it looks small on my 7.25” wrist.

You already love it. Don't swap. Go try on a few times first. For me... hard to find love.

Panda Gold Daytona, but with the gold bracelet instead of the oysterflex.

That AP has a very strange shape.

I’d choose the Daytona.

That AP is enormous. The Daytona is more classic imo….

Since you already have the AP and you know you love it I'd keep the AP.
If it was this or that and you were buying it blind I'd say Daytona since it would, most likely, fit better.
I wish I could pull off that ROO. I had a 15710 for a while, but just didn't work out.

“I still love my AP” is all you need to take from your post.

Keep it you’ll regret it

My choice is obvious. That AP is a bit much for me. However, I agree with everyone else - if you love it, keep it.
