CJCJR from WTF posted his new GV... does anyone know why there is a "black dot" that holds the 3 hands together? i have never seen this

My guess is it's just a shadow effect.

It is not a black dot holding the hands together. Of course the hands are mounted separately as they must move independently.
You are seeing the mounting point for the second hand. Why black? Probably because the designer thought that looked the best. Seems like a good choice to me. Mark |

No black dot in the Rolex catalogue, so, as said, my guess it's a shadow effect in that particular photo.
