Right bracelet?
Hi,
I am wondering if someone could help me with a question I have regarding what bracelet is right for a 1969, ref 1680, "200 meters/600 ft" Tropical dial? I have done some research but I am still not sure because it seems that I find different answeres everywhere. On www.doubleredseadweller.com they write about the bracelet as follows: "With the exception of the ‘brown’ variation, these were originally issued with a riveted bracelet reference 7206 with 60 or 80 end pieces (Some show clearly the 80 stamping, but some of the stampings are so illegible, that many look to be 60). This was the start of the new age of Rolex Submariners." What is the exception? ref 9315 with 280 End Links or 78360 with 501 End Links? How do you know? I hope someone can answere my question, thanks! |

Well on the the very early 5513 they used 7336/ 382 end links. But all my books point to the 1680 with 9315/93150 with 580 end links. And again the 78360 used on early 1016/580,1655/580 end link,16550/501 endlink and early 16570/501 end link.
