AD Visit - Pink OP and GMT VTNR

Had the chance to visit my local AD today and see what is new on the Rolex front. Had the opportunity to try on the GMT lefty on the jubilee and I love it. My preference would be on the Oyster (on the waiting list) and it is very hard not to put the watch on upside down. If I did not have the BLNR on the jubilee I would take the VTNR on a jubilee - not that he offered as it was already spoken for. Also had the chance to look at the 34mm pink Oyster Perpetual. I was considering that for the wife but not sure she would wear it. Great deal for the price - $5,500!

I recently picked up a green OP for my gal. I’m giving it 6 months before the novelty wears off and it ends up in the drawer…the miscellaneous kitchen drawer we all have. Lol.

The VTNR looks great in person.

Go Browns, Woof.

The VTNR is my favorite and the only watch that caught my attention in the last years. Jubilee would be nice since i already have an OP oyster. I heard from a watch collector in my area that one of the stores have specific allocation for first time buyers or low purchase history. So i’ll try to capitalize on that with the AD and hope for the best

I visited an AD a few months ago that was fairly local to me, but was a bit further away in an area that I don't get to very often. I've only been there a few times before. I walked in, was greeted by the manager who asked me what I was looking for. I mentioned the VTNR. He said, before you get too excited....I have one that I can bring out, but you cannot buy it since it was already allocated.

Up to that point I had only seen this piece in videos, online photos, and in the catalogue. I liked it and I knew I wanted one. However, after getting to actually see it in the metal and trying it on the wrist, I now know I HAVE to have one! Such an amazing and beautiful watch! It was the exact one I want as well, on Jubilee. Still working on my local AD to try and get me one. Fingers crossed!

As a lefty, I'm all in on the VTNR; on my AD wish list.

If it is a 36mm, show me where to find your miscellaneous kitchen drawer!

I bought my wife the OP34 with the pink dial--she absolutely loves it (I'm shocked because I don't do well picking out jewelry for her). It's a very subtle and elegant color that goes well with everything.

If you have a chance for a VtNR on any bracelet just get it! You can likely trade a jubilee for oyster here on the forums, or just take it to RSC to buy the bracelet you want.

You never know if rolex will start limiting supply on this watch, or your AD might lose their partnership like so many others are.

Here's the pink OP, but unfortunately the VTNR was not for sale. My wife thinks it is too trendy and would appreciate something more classic. My fear is I buy her something and it gets no wrist time - like 95% of the other jewelry I purchase for her! I think it is a bargain at MSRP.

Picked this up about a month ago. If given the choice I would have opted for the oyster bracelet. After wearing it for a month I don’t even notice the jubilee.

Wife's OP31. She was never much of a watch fan but loves this.

Here’s another picture of the OP34. It doesn’t scream pink like the candy one.

Very nice

I’ve always felt it’s more of a subtle color in real life

That OP 36 pink color is very nice. It’s subtle and will age well for those that don’t love the candy matte pink of the 36.
