Sprite Bezel on 116710LN

Does anyone know if the sprite Bezel insert will fit on the 116710LN? I would love to see this combo if it does fit together.

Why?
What’s the point of putting a GMT bezel on a diver watch that doesn’t have a GMT hand?

That's the black GMT, not the Sub but the question remains, why? I still wouldn't do it even if it fitted, which is unlikely.

No point that can see, but this isn't what the OP is asking.

I don't know for sure, but I highly doubt it will fit.

To each his own. How many here thought the new lefty sprite GMT would have been more desirable as a regular GMT? I thought it even though I applaud Rolex doing surprising new things…

I think it'd look pretty good if you don't mind customised Rolexes.

I don't think there's any way of knowing for certain unless someone tries it as even though it undoubtedly SHOULD fit, there may be some subtle difference about it that prevents it from fitting perfectly. The VTNR ceramic could be slightly thicker (or thinner), or a fraction of a mm wider (or narrower). Also, due to the fragile nature of the ceramic when it's not attached to the bezel, you'd probably be better off sourcing the entire VTNR bezel assembly..... and then you're even more likely to find some microscopic difference in size or fitment that would mean it wouldn't work.

Then again, this is all moot anyway as getting of a genuine VTNR bezel would be nigh on impossible anyway!

The destro look just throws me off. I would much rather have one on a traditional GMT.

Also agree on the point that getting that getting an Authentic VNTR bezel would be impossible, but not if someone owned both. Somebody with both please throw these together.

The green ‘GMT MASTER II’ on the 116710 dial would really work with this bezel. Great idea, though making it happen might prove challenging.

I think that would look very cool, if you could source one and it fit.

Yes, it will fit and it'll still be all factory.
Many people customize their Rolex just as they do their cars, homes, etc... Good luck with the mod and enjoy.

The LHD crown is ok with me, but it's the date on the other side that throws me off.

And yet I don't know why b/c other dates are at 4:30, 6:00

i also think it would look pretty nice. but im not putting an aftermarket bezel on my GMT and as everyone has said it would be almost impossible to source a genuine sprite bezel.

It would look amazing. Favorite part of the 116710LN was the green GMT hand.

It's a very easy mod, but the difficulty is in finding a genuine VTNR insert. That being said, BLRO and BLNR inserts do pop up occasionally, so a it's just a matter of the hunt.

Something tells me the VTNR is designed so that bezels cannot be interchanged like this?
