TT Sky Dweller Oyster to Jubilee
In 2019 I was greatly impressed with the SS black Sky Dweller. Getting one should have been more than enough to address my Sky Dweller obsession in any sane world. However, no sooner had my sweaty little fingers closed around my black SS model, than I began to lust after a TT white. In 2020 I was fortunate to walk into my AD (for something else) and bump into a beautiful Sky Dweller which had come in the day before. It came a bit soon after the black, but this was a gift horse who's teeth I was not going to count.
I was pleased to see the introduction of a Jubilee bracelet option but it didn't register much with me until I wore a SS on Jubilee. Not only does the Jubilee particularly suit the Sky Dweller with its PM fluted bezel, but it is at another level of wearing comfort. Not that the Oyster is uncomfortable. But there's very comfortable and then there's extremely comfortable. I don't have tree trunk wrists. The Jubilee makes the watch disappear (although not visually!) To keep the TT Oyster and have a Jubilee fitted is £4,750 UK. I collected mine from my AD today. It's perfect, at least for me. I will probably go back and forth with the bracelets over time and it will be nice to have the variety. The TT Jubilee bracelet supplied was minus one link and fits me well with the Easylink closed. This is surprising. I checked it against my blue SS on Jubilee from June this year and sure enough, this also has one spare link left over. I guess Jubilees are shorter than Oysters? This is worth bearing in mind if you are thinking of of a Sky Dweller on Jubilee and have a big wrist. Mine is 6.5". There was a RG chocolate Sky Dweller display model, so of course I had to try it. It was on the Oyster bracelet and the fit was very loose. The chocolate dial is my least favourite but in person it is really nice. I still prefer the slate. While it's easy to rule out the full RG on price, I had also taken comfort from the belief that it would be too heavy and look far to flash on my little wrist. Unfortunately this is not the case. It will fit beautifully and it is a comfortable weight. But at north of £41K MSRP it remains reassuringly unjustifiable. Probably. Lume: |

Beautiful. Just elevates the elegance of the sky-dweller to a new level.

Looks much better on the TT Jubilee. (I changed my SS Oyster to the SS Jubilee and love it)

Congratulations!
I also like it better on jubilee. The yellow gold hour markers blend so nicely with this white dial. The best TT combo. |

It appears I’ll be following your footsteps at some point (albeit in reverse) and adding a SS SD after first buying the two tone.
Wear both in good health! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
