I’m hoping I can get a couple years out of mine before it needs that lol.

Seems to be running at about +10sec/day, I believe that’s only slightly out of tolerance for the 3130…

Believe it not, this watch was running 1-2 seconds daily, but after 16 years, I played it safe. Sent it down to Rolliworks.

Wow! Very impressive!!!

I have considered Rolliworks but it seemed like they won’t guarantee water resistance as part of servicing. I wasn’t sure how to feel about that lol

Ahhhh this is the post that clients have been mentioning to me. Finally found it. We test for water resistance on any job what requires us to remove the crystal, bezel, or case back (movement service, case work, dial swaps, hand luming, etc. We dry test up to 10 bar =100m and can wet test up to 125 bar = 125m.

The dry tester gives us a printout that we include in our after service paper work (booklet).

Wet testing is done case only w/o the movement installed, the dry test allows us to test with the movement installed in the case.

Very nice. My son recently got a new Explorer and it has become a favorite. I may consider adding one in the future after I wear his on my next visit. Enjoy!
