Popularity of the Speedmaster 38?

Is the speedmaster 38 not that popular? I don't see many of them listed for sale or mentioned in the forum. If so, any particular reason? I'm interested in getting a 38, so just want to make sure i'm not missing something.

Thanks!

It doesn't seem to be - but no idea why because it looks great.

Be thankful you can just order one without playing silly games!

I looked into purchasing the Speedmaster 38. My only reservation was it's thick case at 14.7mm

I agree. My SO wanted a Speedmaster and we looked at the 38. She has skinny wrists and the 38 was just too thick.

We ended up finding a Speedmaster Reduced. She loves it and it fits her much better.

Just wanted to update this thread. I stopped by the AD over the weekend and they didn't have any Speedmaster 38s. He said he thought they were only available at the boutiques. Anyway, I stopped by the boutique today and they did have Speedmaster 38s available in each color. I ended up picking it up in blue. I would post a pic, but I keep getting error messages when I try to attach a picture... :(
