IWC IW3706 Flieger Pilot's Chronograph 39mm Tritium Dial Custard Patina 3706

For sale is an excellent condition 39mm stainless steel IWC Flieger Pilot's Chronograph. The 3706 was most likely produced sometime during the mid to late 1990s, and is accompanied by its original inner box, but no papers.

The IWC features a brushed steel case, which is accented by a fixed smooth brushed steel bezel. The Pilot's Watch is mounted on an IWC black alligator strap, which is secured by a brushed steel IWC tang buckle. The 3706 features a gorgeous black dial with painted white Arabic numeral hour markers, polished tritium coated hands, day / date window apertures at 3 o’clock, and sub dial registers at 6, 9, and 12 o’clock. The tritium lume plots and hands have aged beautifully, and acquired an even custard patina, which adds to the watch's gorgeous vintage tool watch aesthetics. The movement is used in IW3706 is the IWC Caliber 7922 which features approximately 44 hours of power reserve. Prior to listing the IWC passed both an accuracy and pressure test.

The case has been preserved well, and appears unpolished as it still contains its original chamfers. The OEM strap contains minimal signs of wear, and has a good amount of use life left. Overall the IWC is in excellent condition and is a beautiful example of a late 1990s tritium 3706.
