You are not alone, my friends don’t get it. Many wear Rolex but are not actually into watches. I am converting my sons and nephews. Problem is both my sons like my Exp 1 not my Sub or GMT…

hahaha! Might have saved one this year. Was at a Christmas party and a buddy said, "Hey, I really like your watch!" So I let him have a closer look... "That's real isn't it?" (Older sub). I was like "Yeah". So of course I had to let him try it on... He said, "I was thinking I wanted an Omega but now I'm thinking one of these". The way he was staring at it on his wrist...

Believe me, to me it’s not about having the brand for the same of having a brand on the wrist, but for the appreciation.

Most of my friends don’t have a watch, or if they do, it’s an Apple Watch. But I guess that’s why places like this exist.
You're definitely not alone. I am the only one out of my entire family and friend circle that are into watches. And like many others said this is why I enjoy coming to forums like TRF to discuss and geek about these timepieces.

I literally don’t know anyone else who owns a Rolex aside from an old coworker who’s grandfather gave him his 1803 DayDate before he passed.

My friends and family rightfully so give me sh*t about it, but they knew I was crazy long before I was into watches.

You should see my bikes and guitars, it’s no different.
