I really liked Keeping up Appearances.
It inspired me to have waterside suppers with riparian entertainment. For some reason my wife doesn't seem to like that show. Hmmm.....

Also watched Are You Being Served, Benny Hill and Black Adder (Medieval and the WWI version.)

He wasn’t as active in TV in the 90’s, but had very obvious successes in many other acting and producing ventures from the 70’s onward. My wife’s uncle..Terry Gilliam, of Monty Python fame, is a pretty cool guy in the few interactions I’ve had with him and his kids.

Fairly Secret Army. It's an absolute hoot! Might be, too British for some. (Episode 1 as a taster) Brilliant music by Michael Nyman.

Big Jim and the Figaro Club. Crazy, but atmospheric.

Some many good ones Paul. Many already listed here but you should stretch out a bit and have a look at some earlier ones. I got one for you from the early 70's that you should check out. "On The Buses". Look for it and thank me later.

It wasn't filmed in the 90's, but I used to watch "Are you being served" on PBS/ETV in the late 80's early 90's. Loved that show. I saw the DVD box set a few years ago on Amazon and ordered the entire series.

Haha! Yes Sebenza, a show 'of its time', full of wonderfully camp and diverse double-entendres style humour.
eg. Mrs Slocombe: "Captain Peacock! Kindly take your hand off my pussy"!

(The ladies haberdashery manager had taken her cat into work)

Not from the 90s, but I always loved The Young Ones. Fond memories of hanging out with my buds and killing brain cells while laughing our tails off at Neil, Rick, Viv and the other guy.

One of my kids (born 1980) and I used to curl up on the sofa to watch Cheers on Friday nights.
In January this year, she was in Boston, on business.
She normally brings me something back from her trips.
A visit was made to a certain Boston bar, and I got a Cheers beer Jug as a souvenir.
Made my day, and rekindled fond memories of 'Coach, Ernie Pantusso', Diane, Woody, Carla and the rest of the gang in a brilliant series.

Re US shows, used to love Cheers, Frasier and Married with Children. Used to set the video recorder, and watch them when I came home from nightclubs

You went, back to your own place, from nightclubs?

Can't believe nobody has mentioned "The Young Ones" or "Blackadder"
