Records Snow Fall Along the Eastern Sierra Mountains!

In Mammoth Lakes for a few week and the snow fall is CrAzY! Got in a few good days of skiing so far and the Sheiot hit the fan. Tropical storm flow from the South known as "The Pineapple Express" is bringing A Lot of Very Heavy Wet Snow!

Cool shots Larry! I’m in Reno/Tahoe and we’ve been getting pummeled…happy for the skiers and the water table but TBH I’m ready for it to be over. We had another storm today and it made for a very rough flight out of RNO, and I’m just over it lol

Rough flights are no fun! I'm ready to have a sunny ski day with no wind. These storms are causing some serious problems. We are locked in for the storms. The 395 is closed heading South but open North to Mammoth. The 911 system is down, several areas are evacuating b/c of avalanches, the roads are a bit sketchy and authorities are asking people not to come up here right now.

I'm in Gardnerville and I'm done with it. Been in this area for 46 years, and I haven't seen snow in the valley like this in at least 25 years.

It rained all day today in San Diego, I thought I had been transported by the USS Enterprise to Seattle.

I know we need it but I don't remember such a long wet/ cold winter. Enough is enough, time for some SoCal sun. Trouble is, more rain/snow is forecast for tuesday and wed.

I'm a snow lover, but that amount is just too much to control.

Send some this way, my snowboarding season has been terrible.

Yep I’m a born and bred Reno boy and I can’t remember it being this bad since the early 2000’s!

This weather this year from January on in California, should be tax deductible.

It got so horrendous, I had to fly to Maui.

Another Big Storm stater around 2AM...March is now the 4th month in a row that Mammoth has seen at least 100 inches of snowfall. That has never happened since records have been kept since 1970.

Yesterday was a great day of skiing before this storm pulled in. Hopefully Thursday and Friday are sunny with several feet of fresh Powered.

I haven’t skied in a long time. Before snow boarders actually.

But I gotta say, the outfits have surely changed…
