Watches in London?

Can you wear your watch in London these days. I hear mixed things.

I wore my DSSD everywhere I went last October. I also wore it in the Rolex store in Covent Garden (where I was completely ignored). I’d say you’ll be fine. Just be mindful of your surroundings

It's probably not as bad as Chicago after sunset, but I'd rethink wearing a Rolex in London.

As part of the Big Ben preservation society, we are proposing a ban on all wrist and pocket watches. The Great Bell will be as revelant as ever.

I personally prefer to have a ‘no Rolex in London’ rule during the summer months and my wrists are uncovered. It gives me greater peace of mind to enjoy what I’m doing.

As ever with these things, it can happen at any time in any place - so there really is no right or wrong - just what you’re comfortable with.

Thorpe made it onto the BBC to discuss London watch crime. One man had his arm chopped off for an AP, Jeez.
