Funny, at this point in my life right now I don’t even have the time to be bored. But if I need a mental refresh, this is the best. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I was wondering myself who owns this piece of land lol and what’s it worth! Kind of low key have sim envy now. I’m guessing those things are like 25k? Not much time to be bored as I have a preschooler. But when I do it’s fairly obvious I’m on TRF or I drive to the lake house and fix things.

I have several acres of bush outside my back fence. I like to go out and pull weeds and generally clear the ground as a bit of a firebreak. It is a neverending job but very relaxing.

Depends on what PC you have and components. You can do it for far less than that and have a good setup. I think I probably have about 20K in mine including the PC. Good pedals are key in the sim world.

V25V, how is brake pedal feedback at the very edge of tire grip potential?

So its funny. I actually changed out to Heusinkveld pedals which are load cell and I find them to be better in this regard. You can get to that point and bleed off slowly to trail into the corner much better. I am going to send the Ricmotech pedals in for service as the masters were leaking some but I do not think that is the issue. I think the issue is that hydraulic brakes in a sim application aren't much good unless you have an actual caliper compressing force on a rotating rotor. Not sure how to better articulate why that is but it has never felt right and I am much more consistent with the Heusinkveld's. And they feel much better and more accurate, I was never able to dial in the hydraulics right after a lot of settings changes.

You explained it awesomely Formula 2000 brother. See, that's been my #1 gripe (besides lack of actual g-forces) because one of my 'strengths' was braking in such a way to be 'late' yet on the very edge and 'dance' the car to and 'around' the apex to maximize exit speed all while keeping the chassis as 'smooth' as possible. WGI was epic fun as was other tracks. Am sure SIMs have gotten better over the years, your setup looks like a blast!
Also, Big Bend at LRP was a regular for me, and this was pre-repaving, so....

Too funny. I do the same in our back forty. We have Manitoba Maple trees (invasive species), and I enjoy hacking them down with the pup
