Seiko Tuna recommendations
Have never owned, looking for an all black model. Auto and/or quartz considered, you prefer one over the other?
Models recommend? Please help!

For black I would go with the original Darth Tuna SBBN011 or its replacement SBBN013. If you want something newer, with arrow and sword hands, look at the SBBN025. All are quartz but the battery life is five years.

I would exclusively look after He-free Tunas, the ones that claim 1000m water resistance.
These are the true Tunas. The classic black Quartz, s23631 : https://www.ablogtowatch.com/seiko-prospex-tuna-s23631/ Or the 55th anniversary limited edition SLA041 with rock solid 8L55 caliber : https://www.fratellowatches.com/hand...-divers-watch/ I'm pretty confident Seiko will launch an auto black on black tuna someday. |

My vote is for the all matte black ceramic and titanium beast the SBDX013. I love mine and it fits my 6.75in wrist fine. Outstanding quality and feel.

If your comfortable going vintage, the 7549-7010 is a cracker (my favourite Tuna).
