2023... The Masters at Augusta National!
seems like getting through the lottery is getting tougher.
missed out for 2023. so watching from a distance. love watching those guys skip it on the 16th hole during the practice rounds. I have been a few times and its an incredible course. watching on tv does not give the true variances in the terrain and pin layouts. last year my sister went but failed to pick me up a hat due to the long lines. so I ended up stopping in Augusta at a local flea market/junk store with a vendor that specializes in merchandise. so I am geared up and ready to go. day 1 of practice underway, looks like good weather moving forward. any one going?

My favorite sporting event of the year.
I’ve applied for tickets for the last 12 years and never been selected. My brother has done the same with no luck. I did attend a practice round in 2004 and purchased my ticket from a “street merchant” for $40. Best money I ever spent. Can’t wait to start watching this year’s event. |

When I met my now-wife in the fall of 2017, she told me she had Wed practice round tickets for the 2018 Masters. So naturally, I had to stay with her until then. Then I figured she has good luck so I might as well stay with her.
It was unreal. I’d love to go again but if I don’t, at least I’ve been once. Looking forward to this week! |

The Masters is just so well done. Even non golf fans have to love the way it’s covered.
I’d say the Masters and Wimbledon are my two favourite sporting events of the year. EDIT: if the Leafs were ever to make it back to a Stanley Cup Final, I’d probably self implode. |

I have everything in the sim room setup and ready; I will be playing alongside the group I am watching.
Best sports week of the year for me! Who am I rooting for? I'm rooting for a 10-way tie on the back 9 on Sunday!

Love masters week. Interesting feel this year with LIV/PGA. The weather looks awful so hopefully they can get the rounds in!

Best sporting event of the year, IMO. Went in 2013 on Saturday and Sunday and the place is utterly amazing. Can't wait to go back. Looking forward to this week's tournament.

Not a massive golf fan but still appreciate the Masters, and will tune in for the last round. It always seems to coincide with stressful due dates for me, that’s the only bad thing about the Masters for me. Agree with Brian, up there with Wimbledon.

I’ve been fortunate to attend most of the last 12 years.. Even had the luck to play once and the course is as difficult as the service is fantastic.
Will be there Thursday and hoping the weather holds out through the weekend. |

I want to go, but it is quite difficult!
Looking forward to seeing the longer 13th hole. |
