Proper "etiquette" when selling to TSs?

Considering some of the BS and scam issues that can come with selling private party, some of you have suggested selling to Trusted Sellers. To those that do this, do you just approach one and if the price is whatever you deem fair, just go ahead and sell? Or do you reach out to several and try to get the "best offer"?

I go with David each time. There might be slightly higher offers elsewhere but I go with peace of mind and ease.

Same, except I go with Tony (JustRolexes). I am sure I could get a better price if I went on the internet or looked around, but the peace of mind is worth it in my opinion.

I try to get the best price from several sellers. In the past, David or Takuya usually had the best price. It depends on the watch and their inventory.

just send a few of them an email saying you have a watch you're looking to sell and ask them what their price is. there's usually some wiggle room but otherwise either take the best price or walk, no hard feelings on their side. they're very easy to work with and very responsive

Haha yea, I figure they do so much business they'll forget about it the next day if I say no.

I have sold to David (or maybe a member of his team?) in the past, he IS almost ridiculously easy to work with, definitely.

Thanks guys. I've worked with David in the past, maybe I'll also try Takuya and Tony.

Absolutely get multiple quotes, its all business, they wouldn't think twice to buy from someone else instead of you at a lower price, why would you be loyal to them?

Echo what everyone says. Reach out to 2-3 Trusted Sellers via their websites or contact info with pictures and what you are asking.

They will come back to you and tell you what they will purchase for. If you agree, ask them for a shipping label (they usually have higher insurance ranges) and ship the watch according to their instructions.

I usually have the money in my bank account within 1 day of them receiving the watch.

Exactly!

The shipping label is key. Good job mentioning that, Ryan.

Can’t go wrong with these guys.
As others have said, it’s peace of mind.

I ask David, Patrick, and jomashop and weigh that against what I see moving online.

The last couple I've been able to sell here myself for $3,000 more but there's stress involved.

Ponycar350 is the best buyer. Just send him one blurry image using a first gen Blackberry of a Heuer 2000 and say ‘good condition’ ‘works’ and ‘fits a wrist’ and say it’s a Submariner. He’ll send the money.

Made $790k off him since 2015 this way.

Hey, he's the guy I bought my Seadweller off of in 2005.

14060M here. I remember it like it was yesterday.

Hi, Can I get a pic of the buckle, links and any service history?

- ‘Buckle is Rolex original. Has good links. Keeping time. Want it?’

Sounds good. Sending the transfer now.
