Which Wimbledon DJ should I ask for?
Thinking of asking AD for a Wimby DJ, but not sure which configuration I want in which size. I can eliminate smooth/jubilee, not a fan of that look on DJs.
I like the wrist presence of the fluted/jubilee 41, and the 41 wore pretty comfy on my wrist when I tried it in store. But wondering if it maybe a bit too flashy. So maybe fluted/oyster would be a good compromise, gives me some of that DJ flash but a more subdued look, but not sure which size. And of course the 36mm fluted/jubilee would be the safest classic look, but I do have a DJ already in that config (16013). Argh, so many choices... |

I’m a big fan of jubilee and smooth. Especially on a dial like the Wimbledon that has a lot going on.

There is only one answer:
Fluted on Jubilee bracelet. Take your pick on the size, personally I’d do 41mm. |

Smooth bezel on oyster. How would that look with the Wimbledon dial?

Smooth looks good and saves you some coin, but white gold is always pure class in my book. As for bracelet, a DJ must be on a jubilee, oysters are for OPs (IMO).

I have a 36mm fluted jubilee and it is my favorite config by far. The 41mm felt too big and heavy for me.

What's your wrist size? Unless you have a smaller wrist 41 fluted/jubilee for sure!

Whichever one you truly like the most, taste is a personal thing and why let others tell you what you should like??

Personally I love it in fluted and jubilee but I think you really need to try on different combinations and see for yourself.

Wrist size would help. Obviously a 36mm is MUCH better suited for some people. But jubilee and fluted is a great combo.

Fluted is the key to making the dial stand out more. Oyster or Jubiliee is less critical.
But I prefer it in TT as the YG and the green roman numerals contrast is stunning. |
