Used AP15300 - General Condition Inquiry

Hey everyone. Hoping to get some wise guidance here before I pull the trigger. A dealer is asking around $30k USD for this. Seems fair but I'm concerned at the level of polishing particularly around the polished edges along each of the links of the bracelet (does not look sharp). Would like to know if what I'm seeing is accurate and people's thoughts on the polishing work here and general watch condition. Many thanks in advance.

I don't own a 15300, and i'm not an expert.

But man, you can fit an encyclopedia through those links.

LOL. Yeah…. I don’t know if that’s a result of a loose bracelet but also possible of some horrendous polish job.

Bracelet looks quite worn and it has been really badly polished. In theory it can be brought back, new bracelet and have case+bezel redone by a professional. But the costs would be substantial.

As other have said it’s WAY over polished. There are no sharp corners left anywhere!

Over polished in bad manner, also the bracelet. You will find better 15300ST around here.

Maybe first get some knowledge on how it should be? Try one on. Feel and see how sharp the lines are. If the condition is new, or good, it's so nice to look at it.

Educate yourself before spending this amount on a watch!

I don't mean this in a bad way...

To bad there are no pre-polishing pictures. I would have loved to see how badly scared it was. I would prefer it all scratched up, dinged, non polished.

The case doesn't seem too bad, relatively speaking, but the bracelet and bezel are goners. If this was a sock-drawer find it could be resurrected by AP, but doesn't make sense if you start $30k in the hole.
