Did you take it with both straps ready to swap over as and when?
yeah, SA made one additional puncture in the alligator strap. Not sure if I can change it myself, don't want to damage the screws. Changing straps is not that easy, takes 10-15min.

Congrats! This post actually changed my perspective a bit on the strap version. It really looks great in the flesh with the black contrast. Plus you have the option to purchase a bracelet separately although not sure if the economics make sense.

Thanks. Steel RO with black dial doesn't do much for me. The contrast of the rose gold and black dial/strap is just perfect.

If I remember correctly, the rose gold bracelet is around 30k. Not going to buy that. I rather buy a steel RO...

Pro level tip learned from Bearx86, put the code clasp tang buckle on the rubber strap. Gives it a very nice balance counter weight to the heavy gold watch head. (Should be able to buy extra one or swap out the one you already have, but buying extra one obviously means won't cannibalize the other watch).

Congrats on the watch! I have the same condition. Take a #2 hair clipper trimmer to it once a month and the watch will look significantly better

Can you get a deployment buckle for the rubber strap?

Does the rubber sit higher than the leather or both very similar
Sorry for all the questions

Lower. The rubber strap is more flexible than the alligator. The first 1.5 - 2cm of the alligator strap had large scales, so it’s a bit more difficult to get a nice fit on your wrist. Probably with a bigger wrist this will not be an issue.

Damn that sh*t looks amazing on your wrist! Helped by the HK backdrop but still... I always thought a RO should have a metal bracelet, but this might change my mind...

Love that watch. I really connect with the AP pink gold but thought I’d never go that way on a RO because full gold bracelet too much bling for me. But also not crazy about alligator strap. Didn’t know the rubber strap was an option. Game changer. Thx!

Same for me... I might change it to an alligator strap for special occasion. Although black rubber strap and rose gold is perfect for all occasions.

AP called me several months ago for the ROC rose gold blue dial. Blue might be the more in demand colour, but combining a blue rubber strap with a formal and more casual outfit is difficult. That's why I choose for the black dial.

Not sure who told you that you can't pull an all gold watch at whatever age you are. You can do it at any age, it's all about how YOU wear it.
