Great info. ! Speaking of James Bond watches, any clue as to what will be worn in Bond 23?? It would be very interesting to know if he will stick with the Omega Planet Ocean, or go back to using a Rolex Sub.
What are your thoughts Dell ?? (I've read your website on Bond watches, VERY good info, and lots of knowledge there. Excellent work my friend

Being that you're in Connecticut, is it safe to assume your NAWCC dues are all paid-up and current, leaving nothing to slow you down for the big Bond watches exhibit next year?

re Bond 23, I don't have any knowledge beyond that of a journalist (and seriously doubt anyone these days who claims more for themselves). But, that said, my read on the news reports, various non-Bond involvements of the key players, and the serious focus I'm seeing on other productions, I doubt seriously we'll see another 007 film before 2012.

As far as the watch goes, I guess you've read about the effort to sell "replica" Casino Royale shirts in exchange for insider-information on the then-undisclosed Quantum of Solace watch. ADs were (rightfully) furious, as you can imagine how that their investments could be seriously compromised, financially, by such a disclosure to, um, less-mainstream selling sources. LINK

I'd prefer not to go into details here (as I have not yet on my Blog), but suffice it to say that this is something were I was in dialogue over an extended period of time with Omega SA at the highest levels, and an internal investigation was initiated.

If anyone claims they know what the Bond 23 watch will be, hold onto your wallet!

So James Bond intrigue isn't limited to the big screen, I guess, eh?

Didn't bond drink Schmirnoff Black in an early Bond movie? I know I saw the bottle in his hotel room, but not sure if I saw him pour a drink from it.

Dell, thanks for the quick response
No, I had no clue about the replica shirts in trade for insider info. I just read up on the link you've provided. Quite interesting.
Looks like we're all just going to have to wait and see what will happen in the next Bond movie around 2012
