Blue dial Datejust. I've never seen such a dynamic color that changes from nearly black, to royal, to flat glossy blue in grey light, to beautiful sunburst in full light!

1) Submariner
2) Speedmaster Professional
3) Something more dressy (e.g., Datejust or Cartier Santos)
4) A more casual watch, ideally with a blue dial (Seamaster in my case)

A generic black dial diver. It's basically the simple 3-hander of today. Good for any situation, and the bezel can be used to track elapsed time which comes in handy.
