Sell it and get something you really want down the line. No point in keeping a luxury item that you have no use for.

It is good you decided to keep it Suzanne, right decision IMO.
The watch looks perfect on your wrist, enjoy and hold onto the happy memories.

Well, 15 years ago I started itching for a Rolex.. at that time I hade Omega Planet Ocean.. and on a trip to Seoul Lotte duty free I saw a polar explorer with red gmt hand..I was very happy with that.. but after a while like two years; I started itching for the new ceramic gmt master.. I sold my polar explorer II and planet ocean and got the GMT Master II.. I was so happy.. then at a trip to Jakarta at the mall I saw a 36mm datejust rosegold with Jubilee bracelet.. without thinking a minute I got it ..
at year 2012 again on a trip to Osaka I saw the hulk .. and with a quick decision I trade it with my datejust .. I had the hulk and I was the most happy person on earth.. then an addiction started called Panerai.. and it was a beginning of a fall..
I traded my gmt master with a panerai 321 .. and later I got the pam233.. I was so in love with the Pam 233 I was never wearing my hulk.. and at 2019 I decided to sell my hulk .. a month before it was discontinued.. I was so happy with my only watch pam233 ..
But at the beginning of 2023 the itching started again for a Rolex.. but it was impossible to find a brand new one at the ADs.. the used ones were multiple times higher than the brand new ones ..
So last weekend I went to local ad at the mall at Istanbul; she was a very friendly sales representative.. she honestly said the gmt or the sub is very very hard to get.. but she recommended me the explorer 40.. and put my name on the list.. and said will text or call or mail me when it arrived.. and also said it won’t take so much time.. and I decided on the explorer as a comeback to Rolex .. well you can see my old threads started by me about my old Rolex purchase stories ..
finally last one word .. never sell your Rolex ..

I sold my first Rolex and bitterly regretted it shortly after, bought it back a few days later from the dealer (my actual watch).

Watches like Rolex tend to hold their value well, and in some cases even appreciate in value. If you're not in urgent need of money, you could view the watch as an investment. However, if you feel that you can invest the money you get from selling it in a better way, then selling could be a good option. Anyway, take a look here and try to get an expect of how much your Rolex will be worth in few years from now

It doesn't seem like this DJ having any sentimental value to you, plus model like this shall be easy to regain later if you change mind again, I would say go for it if you don't love it anymore
