It’s and absolute pleasure to wear. Very light and comfortable. I thought strap combinations might be a challenge but it has turned into a strap monster.
Ver very pleased with it. Out of my collection of Panerai it’s top 2 for sure.
For me size is not an issue.

Perfect. Size would not be an issue for me either. I'm just trying to figure out which way to go; 44 or 47mm.

The dial is what sold me. Just spectacular in the sun and the sea water. Pools too. Lol. Will not be disappointed.

Nice 979! Funny I put the same strap on mine yesterday - the olive green. The 979 is my most comfortable watch. Put it on and you forget you are wearing it. So unique. Kind of stealth. It is a keeper.
