Different extension numbers for Rolex Medium Boxes

Hello everyone

I purchased a submariner date, dated 2023, and the reference no. of the box is 39139.8064

There are other boxes I've seen where the reference for M sized Rolex boxes are 39139.64 , 39139.04 , or 39139.01

It is the first time I'm seeing 8064 as the extension for M sized boxes. Hence I would like to ask if anyone would know why the differences, and most importantly, is 39139.8064 a legitimate box reference no?

Thank you all

Boxes are not made by Rolex but by a third party in many countries in this world, so depending where bought the numbers will be different, the most important bit is having a genuine watch and not the packaging box.

Thanks Padi for sharing the information.

Definitely agree that having a genuine watch is more important.

But couldn't help but to ask around to see if there is anyone out there who happens to have the Medium Boxes with the same reference no 39139.8064

It’s the exact same number as the box for my brand new 36 mm OP.
It’s legit! Stop worrying.

Got it. Thanks Kat for addressing my anxiety

I'd share more pics in a separate thread.
