If it's a Rolex AD, they are selling everything they receive. Lots of folks having luck there.

Nope. About five years ago I tried to start a relationship with them but the sales rep I randomly walked up to wasn’t very encouraging. I didn’t try very hard though. Thankfully I made a relationship with a different AD in LA.

I will say, the manager was a very cool guy. He wore a vintage Sub and he liked talking watches. Not sure if he is still there though.

I was there about a year ago and they had three watches in the case for sale - a two-tone DJ41 and two women's models.

Every other time I've been, they've had nothing, but have offered to put me on an imaginary list.

This is my home Rolex AD (along with Patek as well). My suggestion to new buyers with no purchase history would be to:
-go grey if you just want one watch
-buy a certified pre-owned Rolex from the Bucherer in the same mall if you're interested in establishing a relationship.

Bucherer owns the Rolex boutique in South Coast Plaza so preowned purchases will count towards spend history. This way you don't have to wait months for a Datejust just to establish history and also shows the AD that you're not a flipper.

Great tip. I had no idea they had the same ownership and spend count would crossover.
