For my 1700th posts I need help from forum Semi-Bubbleback experts : )

Have starting to gain interest in semi-BB:s. Currently looking at a SS 6082 and a TT 6085. Seems hard to find a correct answer on height and lug-to-lug measurements…

-Does anyone know the correct measurements?

-How small do the semi bubblebacks wear with their short lug-to-lug length but tall height? (They seem to be around 34-34.5mm in diameter which is fine for me)

-Are the dials original or renovated, repainted etc. on the models below?

-They are about the same price, which one would you choose out of these two?

3 first pics are of the TT 6085 and the two last ones are of the 6082)
I know that both watches cases are over polished

At first glance, I have some concerns about the dial of the 6082, but both photos are a bit blurry so I can't be sure.

I have reached out to the sellers for better pics, but from what you can see now-the 6085 dial might be original and untouched?

Yeah, I'm definitely not 100% sure, but I just don't feel great about the 6082. The dial texture looks funny, the printing (font and tick marks) isn't as precise as I would like, and it's odd that the outer track isn't concentric with the rehaut (in some places the small ticks and chapter ring are prominent, and in other places you can barely even see the ticks). I'm definitely no expert on this reference, however, so it's possible that I'm being too picky.

Thanks, Dan! Any thoughts on the 6085?

The photos make it difficult, TBH. Sorry.

Anyone that owns or has owned one of these and can comment on size and wearability? I have a 7.5 inch wrist…
