OP41 Silver dial: it's here!
Glad to announce I received my OP41 silver dial yesterday.
Here are the first pictures! For those who were worried last week about the full payment: I double-checked with the AD (rolex only shop), they don't think it's fair to ask a deposit because they don't know the time it will take, but when the time is there to order the watch, they ask to pay the full amount for it to arrive in the next 2 weeks. I guess that's how they work, not sure if they go like that with all clients. They needed the payment to come in in a couple of days and only coming from my personal bank account. It's my first luxury watch and I've waited about 2,5 years. Just visited them once after expressing my interest, but that's over a year ago. Pleasantly surprised to get the call. I also received two magazines #10 & #11. The green tag was missing, I'm kinda bummed about that, but maybe not enough to call them.. Now. How long did you wait to express your interest in a second watch? :) Have a nice day, all! |

Beautiful. Love the silver dial and gold accents on the hands and indices. Congratulations!

OP41 Silver dial: it's here!
Congratulations! The best OP, in my opinion. Call them about the green tag. They didn’t mind asking you for payment early. Is the white tag there? I asked about a second watch, after they sized it, and it was a done deal. I did mention that sometime next year would be fine. Your story of how this all went down does seem to prove that each AD makes their own rules. I did not give any down payment, nor did they ask me to pay in a particular way. Get your green tag, so you have a full kit.

I noticed that, too, which makes me wonder if Rolex produces certain models in a given time frame. So, perhaps, right now, silver OPs are rolling off the assembly line. Kat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Best Rolex in the current lineup.
Ask for whatever you want. Used prices are still going down everyday and production is only going up. Don't look at C24 asking prices, many of those folks are in the red because they were speculators. Steel Daytonas are still tough to get.

Definately a nice OP! I wouldn't mind adding a silver dial variant to my green OP41.

Beautiful watch ... congrats!
If you are missing the green tag, I would just stop in and let them know it was missing. They will give you one. It's not something specific to the watch. Now if it was the white tag, that would be far worse as there is only one and it came with the watch. The green tag is just swag essentially, so they can go in the back and grab one for you. I have had to go back to get the white outer box sleeve twice at the same AD and had to remind another AD to ship it with the watch. Some ADs don't think to put the white sleeve in, but it does protect the outer box from getting soiled from handling. You might also ask them if they have a leather or faux green suede watch pouch, so you can put your watch in something nice at night or when it goes into the safe or safe deposit box. |
