Well, If you had 60K to burn for a watch, have you reached the point where you no longer need others to make a choice and even less their opinion or approval...

Easy one for me: Patek 5205G - been on my wish list for a while, and it comes in just under the $60k limit.

Why are you even trying to communicate with WIS neophytes, your knowledge is level 9000 but they're still relying on youtube watch influencers for their horological education.

You pointed out the patek silicon thing for which anyone who cares about craftsmanship and horology would end the debate right there but that information just flew right over their heads.

guys what vliberman is telling you is that a 60k patek is not finished to the same standard as a 200k patek grande complication. Patek took a page from the playbook of luxury fashion houses like LVMH and sells entry level products with entry level manufacturing standards because patek knows that most consumers are ignorant like those arguing with vliberman.

I honesty cant think of a luxury brand that respects its customers less than patek. maybe AP these days but I dont have anything from AP now either. If you've ever interacted with after sales service for Patek compared to say, H. Moser, youd know that patek is the wizard of oz of horology

60k for one watch and it’s still a Rolex, is in the wrong league imo.

Or this
Both right there at the budget. I’d probably rather have the AP, this is my favorite watch to wear.. the platinum day date is really nice but just a little less sporty.
