How to fix 2 factor authentication lockout?

I am locked out of my main account - it challenges me for my validation code but I don’t even have google Authenticator and can get past this. I do not recall ever turning this on - but I could have done something inadvertently of course. Obviously I don’t have the recovery code either.

I tried contacting the Admins but no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

I had this problem also. I had the Google Authenticator app on my phone but my phone crashed and I lost my number because I didn't have it written down. Contact admin, and they will get back to you with instructions. Be patient. It isn't always an instant reply.

There is a risk that your other account has been compromised and the hijacker set-up 2FA.

Do you sell using that other account? If so, I’d suggest a post in the WatchOut section forewarning members.

Good luck! Same thing here...as you can see I'm a "new member" with only a few posts, that should let you know how that goes.
