Nice.
I thought Rolex didn't allow ADs to ship new watches, I thought they had to be collected in person (certainly that's my understanding in the UK anyway).

Thanks and I've heard/experienced that as well. One AD requires pick up in person, while the one this DD came from will ship to me. I'm fortunate to have 2 ADs that I have good relationships with as they know I'm not a flipper and I appreciate these time pieces for what they are...precision mechanically engineered machines.

Most AD’s have this policy too in the States (based on my experience and reading others comments here). The policy is designed to deter flipping, same as how some AD’s will only sell to local customers in the first place, but it all depends on your prior relationship.
