My Breitling arrives tomorrow from service!

I sent in my Navitimer 4/10/23 for service after dropping 12/5/22. Took a long time for me to accept that it was running slow due to the big drop and even longer for service to be completed.

Breitling’s service support is excellent as I apparently caused more damage than they budgeted for an overhaul.

It's always such a nice feeling when a watch is back from service. I might be sending two in soon, so I'll be excited for the return too.

Arrived and working like new. I elected not to replace the center case at a cost of $300 plus taxes. The only mark on the watch is on the tip of lug at the 7:00 position which was scrapped when I dropped. The metal underneath the DLC is coating is a dark colored 316SS, so it’s not noticeable, unless I stare at it. Anyway, I don’t notice the scrap like I would on the bezel or crystal.

The full service was $600 and comes with a one year warranty.

The upside of the DLC coating is it’s scratch resistant. The downside is you can’t polish out a scratch.

Damn 5 months. Thanks for the info. I won't be sending my watch into Breitling then. I know a reputable watchmaker that would turn around in 2 months

Just received back. Interesting sticker on the back case. It’s hard to read but says ‘manufacture en Suisse’.
