A lot of the responses are interesting. This is strictly a deep-sea dive watch meant to be worn over a wet suit or diving suit. It was never intended to be a dress watch. It is the perfect size for what it is intended to do with a great weight for its size.

I'm sure the deepsea challenge is not for sale to most and for sale for the right clients. I have no history with this AD but just hit it off with the SA since I met him. I was there for like 45mins that day . we chopped it up tried different watches.overal a fun experience.
Yeah, the matte dial is a big charm of this watch. In terms of matte-ness, it is significantly more matte than SD43, DSSD, and 214270 explorers. The Ti YM is a great release as well. Hope to see it at my AD at some point. Good luck in your hunt!

I'd say it's roughly the same weight as standard DSSD. It is lighter than what the size suggests, thanks to Ti construction.

Oh I get it

I should clarify. No I didn't buy the watch. Saw it at my other AD that I'm working on building relationship with. Figured I play with it and show some photos here.[/QUOTE]

Sorry I was confused.
