Up for grabs is a Rolex Day-Date in 18kt yellow gold

Reference 18038 with 36mm case, quickset date, sapphire crystal.

5.4 mil serial number circa 1978 production

Excellent vintage condition case with very thick and sharp lugs. The right side of the watch shows heavy patina on the gold from sitting around. Fully legible numbers.

Dial is original, matte champagne with nice patina plots and hands.

The watch comes on unworn black leather strap.

Caseback remains unpolished in my opinion, as well as the case. No box or papers.
