Gold Filled Case vintage 1967

Greetings all...I am the original owner of Rolex Oyster that was given to me as a graduation gift in May '67.

It has a gold-filled case and SS back...new then and not made for too long. This gold-filled material had a proprietary Rolex brand name...but, I can't recall it.

Does anyone recall the trade name for this golf filled case?
Or have any other information?
Thanks.
I'm having problems adding photos...

The 1960s Rolex Oyster Perpetual watches such as the 1005 and the 1024 were gold capped where the top gold case is a separate piece pressed on to the underlying stainless steel case. This is a different process than that used for gold plating and the end result is a much thicker and more durable gold layer.

Rolex used the term "Golden Egg" for these watches in some of their advertising material, but I'm not sure if this was still used in the late 1960s or if it was only used for earlier watches.
