I was initially worried about legibility but having worn it for over a day it turns out it’s not an issue. Thumbs up for the Rolex designer for using right combination of colors and finishes on a rather busy dial for optimal aesthetic as well as the functionality!
Happy birthday and congratulations on the Stunningly beautiful Daytona.

Ive fallen in love with the same one myself, but am still undecided between the YG and the Everose 126505 with diamond dial. I want one for my 60th, which is about 14 months away, and Ive put my name down with my AD for both. My AD understands Im still debating between the two.

In your experience, do you feel the YG attracts "too much" attention or it is easy to live with?

Thank you!
This is also my favorite combination from the new release.

I don’t think YG attracts too much attention because most people don’t notice other people’s watch or think it’s just a gold colored fashion watch. I received few compliments in the past week but they were from people wearing high end watches themselves.

I had same YG vs RG dilemma but went for YG because I personally think Rolex rose gold is little too pink and washy for my taste and I feel it’s too pink on a bracelet model vs OF model. (Strangely I found new 126505 slightly more reddish than 116505 side by side, I read in the forum that Rolex seems to have changed the mix of gold alloy around 2020 YG became bit more rosy warm and less yellow. Maybe they adjusted the RG too in order to make it more distinguishable to the new YG..) But RG definitely more discrete than YG. But If I really wanted a discrete watch I would choose WG.

Good luck for getting the call in time for your 60th!

Thank you for coming back on that one. Personally, Im also leaning toward the YG too, but was initially hesitant in case it it was too loud. I have not seen either in the real yet, and only have the photos to go by. Your valuable insight is very much appreciated.

14 months to go and counting.
