Agree probably the Sun is a better choice as a daily

When I had a 16710, the Oyster Bracelet was already brushed for me. When I went to a 116710 LN, I had the AD brush out the PCLs and I loved it.

I am starting to fall in the camp that no one really notices your watch (unless they are into watches) so wear what makes you happy. This forum had me worried about wearing a bluesy but they reality is my 25+ year old $500 TAG has gotten more comments/noticed that any of my more expensive watches.

My daily is a 16710 with a glide-lock oyster bracelet. I brushed the PCLs using a Scotch-Brite 07448 ultra fine hand pad. It took about 20 minutes.

I alternate between my TT CHNR & Sky D as a daily and usually wear my Sub LV on the weekends depending on what is going on.

Either one is good for daily wear. Just pick only one for daily wear, so you will have the other one with less scratches.

They have differences yes, but overall they are both just fat bezel casual watches. You can talk yourself into one being dressier than the other but neither is even remotely a dress watch. If you know what day it is, get the Sub (no date), if not the Sub Date. If you like colorful things get a GMT in your favorite color.

Now we just need a "nightly" watch.

I wear my Tudor GMT when I like to have another time zone handy (usually during work with lots of meetings involving overseas colleagues).

The Sub goes on when I'm trotting around town without a care in the world what's happening over seas.

Exactly what I was going to say. Wear whichever one suits your mood, when you are getting dressed, in the morning. Either makes a great daily wearer, and don’t be afraid of scratches…

GMT or Sub, pick the one you like wearing more. Both aren’t flashy and people hardly notice except for some watchnerds like us!

I suppose it depends on the situation, so both I guess. The new GMT is a bit dressier I suppose out of the 2. I would say Sub.

I have both. Either one works great. So does my DJ41 and that’s more flashy than both.
