Deciding on next acquisition

Hi guys, hope everyone has a wonderful year ahead! Have been lurking around on this forum for some time and this is my first post! I have a collection of couple of watches: 16610, 116500ln(both colors), 116689, 5170g-001, 15400st.

Currently thinking of adding a Pepsi 126710blro on jubilee as well an everose model. However torn between the 116505 & 126715chnr, tried both and liked both. Or even thinking of possibly skipping the Pepsi and going straight for a grail Patek 5980 steel in blue dial. Lemme know what your thoughts are thanks

Buy a Sailboat, you have enough watches.

If you can get it directly from PP boutique, definitely I would go for 5980/1R or 5980/1AR.

If you have to get it from secondary market, I think PP is way overprice.

Great collection!

Nice collection, welcome to the forum

I personally wouldn’t add two Rokex GMT’s. I’d get the 126710 on jubilee and the Patek

Some really nice ones. I would go for a little color, BLRO and a 5980 sound perfect

Tried on both 116505 and 126715 some time back, and the pepsi too, all not mine.

The BLRO on jubilee would add some color to your collection and is a fun watch to own and wear. I like the Root beer but would probably look at the RG DD40 with the green dial.

I'd sell the YMII and get the BLRO on jubilee and 5980.

I’ve never made a decision about acquisition, I simply buy the watch that speaks to me the loudest and if nothing is talking to me I wait.

Welcome to the forum.

When you see something that you absolutely must have, you will know what to add. That’s how my next acquisitions find ME!

If i were you i would add a rose gold daytona, a yellow gold daytona, a white gold daytona and a platona. Of any configuration. Then you can wait a bit then add another configuration of rose, then yellow, then white, then plat daytona. Then repeat the pattern until you have all the daytonas of the catalogue in your collection as you seem to love daytonas.

Some lovely pieces, wow.

If the grail is in within reach, I would just go straight for that, especially if you can get it at retail. If you're going to dabble with the GMT's, then I might swap the YM2 for the Pepsi and if there's anything left over, use if for the Patek.

That's a great collection. I would recommend a GMT, Pepsi or Batgirl.
