BE CAREFUL - TRF User Sterling991 - Two TRF Sellers selling the same "pictured" watch

I would love the hear the explanation on this one.

TRF User Sterling991 is selling a 1978 Submariner last bumped for $11,000 yesterday here:

He is using pictures from TRF User Jadaj sales ad of his 1978 Vintage Rolex Submariner Date Ref. 1680 MK3 Bezel Insert Matte MK2 Dial and also last bumped for $10,500 yesterday:

It should be noted that there was a prior sale between these two users back in 2021. But bumping the sale ads with the same pictures makes you go hmmmm.

The narrative doesn’t fit the date stamps…

Sterling991 begins his thread on 2/13.



Jadaj bumps his thread a week afterward to $10,500.


Both are in Florida - so maybe both are selling same watch at same time?

Or someone has a Time Machine?

Hate to disappoint you, but no mystery here. Sterling991 and I know each other well and have done many watch deals together.

I sold him the watch originally and now I have it back for sale.

I was unaware that he had it listed here as well. Chalk it up to poor communication on our parts.

Great news is that it is currently in hold pending funds.

I would point everyone to my feedback on the forums. I 100% stand behind my sales and reputation.

Sterling991 should not have listed the watch but he was not trying to deceive anyone …he simply didn’t understand that he was violating the rules.
