GMT Master II Swapping Bracelets
Hello, I just got the call for a 126720VTNR (Sprite) on Jubilee. Really excited about it but already have a pepsi on Jubilee so was hoping for the oyster. I bought the watch and wondering if it's possible to swap the bracelet. Sounds like it is based on what I've been reading.
Do you know the reference numbers for the bracelets? Any advise on swapping? Heard it's easy to scratch the case back |

GMT Master II Swapping Bracelets
You should be safe with the right tool as long as you make sure you mask the lugs good and you have the 79200 bracelet. Welcome to TRF and congratulations

Yes. Easily doable. 79200 is the reference number as said above.
Welcome and congrats on your new VTNR! |

My AD always told me it would be possible to buy alternate bracelets, ie if/when I ever get the call for aGMT, if it’s on oyster, I could buy the jubilee separately.
However, I was talking to them about another issue last week and was told Rolex no longer allow this and won’t sell a different bracelet to the one that came with the watch. |

Was told the same thing. Oyster can be ordered but not Jubilee. You can exchange a Jubilee for a Jubilee which makes no sense.
OP, if you want to trade your Jubilee for my Oyster, we can see if we can work something out. |

You can swap with 79200, 78200 or even the 97200 with glide lock
Congrats and good luck

Some ADs still have had stock and hence been able to deliver after that point in time and some ADs still say the oyster can be ordered but not the jubilee. Though out of the ADs I am in contact with, the ones saying oyster can be ordered are also the ones that usually don't have a clue so I take that information with a grain of salt. Anyway despite asking around quite a bit over the last few months I haven't been able to find any evidence of anyone being able to order later than early fall. Would love to hear if anyone have been able to but so far nothing. |

I've done this before with my BLNR using a Bergeon 7825. Definitely use some tape around the lugs and the trick is to move the watch and not the tool while you've got the springs down.
