Rolex 18038
I have a 18038 that I really like and I had the dial changed from the T Swiss original dial to a “Swiss Made” Rolex Roman Numeral dial. I believe this dial might be a 6 digit dial but I love it on this watch. My question is if I send it to RSC will they service it as long as it’s an authentic Rolex dial even though it may have come on a later model? Thanks

They may, but I wouldn't count on it. Sounds like the dial swap wasn't done by RSC. If that's the case and there's no record of it in their system (as having been done by Rolex), they may very well refuse work unless you agree to have the correct dial installed.

To avoid the hassle why don’t you send it to a recommended independent?

A Swiss dial is what they’d install as a service dial anyway. Just take it in and see what they say. Why is everyone so scared of RSC!!

Thanks for the input. As long as the dial is an original Rolex product dial for a 36mm daydate I don’t see why they would refuse service. I understand they may not put the dail in the watch at service but to refuse service would be silly in my opinion.
