I'm not aware of any aftermarket quick change straps. I'd also be weary of them as I don't want my watch falling off if the mechanism on an aftermarket strap failed. Last watch I sent in for damage due to dropping was a $4,600 repair

I posted this question in another place but any idea if the 26238 steel bracelet (quick release) would at least fit onto the 26420? I miss steel bracelets..

Try Vagenari straps. They’re made in China but the quality is good. They also make straps for VC overseas and other high end brands.

It doesn’t fit the diver, which is also 42mm. I would be very surprised if it fit the 43mm ROO.

Making steel bracelets for the diver and 43mm would be an easy moneymaker for AP, at probably $7k a pop.

On another note, does anyone have a deployant foldable clasp, quick release, compatible with the 43mm ROO that they might have for sale? Preferably stainless steel. Sorry if this is posted in wrong place, please let me know otherwise. I don't currently live close to any boutiques.

Because I know for a fact that Jean Rousseau is not authorized to make/sell those straps to retail customers. i asked. Twice :)

Which means that going through AP will result in the price being about 2x what Jean Rousseau would charge if they could sell 'em.

I bought quick change custom alligator straps from Solitaire in Singapore, near SGD400. Took about 5 weeks for delivery. It has been holding up great.





I was recently in Japan and shocked to find the standard rubber straps retail for JPY 80,000 in the boutique vs SGD 500…
