Can you please share a link where I can buy unworn mint green DJ41 fluted/jubilee for under $10.6k? Not to be mean, but you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

was going to reply to him but I see that he's banned. Thanks for being so helpful to me This Kat!
Ken PS also disappointed in how much judgement has been passed by so many here on a question I would have asked in the same situation. Quote:

Has anyone experienced actually attempting to return a Rolex? I’d like to hear about how it went, vs speculation.

Unless Stainless steel DJs cost $15,000 at the AD, that is false info. I’ve checked secondary market pricing for that reference. It’s approximately 2/3 higher than MSRP.

If the model isn't easy to move, you've now disappointed the AD in making the sale and then reneging, effectively giving them a preowned model they'll have to worry about selling. If the model is easy to move, now the AD has to wonder what's the point in setting something aside for you if there are more reliable customers waiting in the wing. I don't necessarily condone the attitude SAs take, and yes I'd agree it's "their problem" to have to sell a watch, but our feelings don't really matter to them, and they're the decision makers when that titanium Yachtmaster finally arrives. I think a better option for the OP is to find a reliable grey dealer- one that doesn't display serial numbers in their sales listings- and sell to them... but not before the AD gives OP the call for their next timepiece.

Thanks all for the advice. Decided to keep it for now! We'll see if I get a call for the Sub LV and re-evaluate at that time. The mint is too special to give up so quickly and jub/fluted combo makes a perfect companion to the 116710 BLNR on Oyster. Dress/Sport, Green/Blue, Jub/Oyster, Gold Bezel/Ceramic Bezel.

Unless money is an issue just keep it. If you decide not to keep it leave the AD out of it, no telling how they will react. And yes, dial swaps are only available from Rolex after five years when warranty has run out.
