I’ve been wanting a panda for an awhile now, but have had no success in getting one despite buying history and my wife going in every month for the past few years. My wife surprised me today with an early bday gift to celebrate my 40th bday. She caved and just paid gray market price for this unworn 2023. She did the math and it was cheaper to just pay the gray market price than buy pieces of no interest..

That’s what I did too. Worked out cheaper to just bite the bullet and go grey.

Couldn’t be happier with my new 126500LN black dial Daytona.

Asked my AD what it would take to allocate a white dial SS Daytona, and was told to buy either a Hublot / UN / GP (At any price range) and the next Daytona would be mine.

And I’ve spent close to a 100 grand at my AD.

Id expect to see the 116500 settle to 4-5 over price of new one at AD but condition, age, provenance etc will all lead to a huge range.

I can’t see it becoming a bargain any time soon though..!

Where do you see a mint/unworn 116520 priced at? I see a mint going for well above a few thousand over 126 retail… unless you mean more than $6-7k as a few?

Yes to be fair BNIB or NOS will always command a premium - and that premium will grow and grow as it ages. Good point.

Was put on by the previous owner.

Hardly notice it when I wear the watch though.

I’ll just let it peel off on its own.
